Gardaland

Our last stop was at Lake Garda, Italy,  a beautiful area about an hour away from where we live.  We were pretty beat by the time we got here so we didn't explore as much as we planned.  I guess I figured we live close by so we would be coming back often if we wanted to.  We took the kids to the big amusement park here called Gardaland (their version of Disneyland?).  They had some fun rides and I was very proud of the boys for being game to ride everything.  It was sooooo hot and muggy that day.  We got burned out by 5pm and headed back to our hotel.

On the way, we passed this castle that was jut off the road.  It looked like something out of a story book.  Well, it isn't a real one, just one they are finishing as a hotel.  I liked it!

Grayson, Les and Landon posing with the guardian of Atlantis.  Pretty fun wet ride that cooled us down!

This just looks too real!  Hahaha!!  Grayson, life just caught up with you!

Grayson, my happy guy.

DRAW!!!
They had an area that was dedicated to the American Old West.  We all felt homesick!!

HOW!!
This just looks too real for me.  Hahaha!!

Grayson's dream come true.

We had a great family vacation.  We experienced a variety of cultures and activities, met some interesting and kind people, explored Europe a bit and enjoyed each others company.  I'm so grateful we were able to do this.  I feel fortunate to be gifted with this chance to live in a place I've dreamed of since I was a child.  I miss our family and friends in the states and hope to see some of you here.

Love to you all.
