A bit of background of what my business is about:
*My ideal client is a woman who is unsatisfied with an aspect in her life such as: 1. family dynamics 2. her job 3. self worth 4. mother/daughter relationship 5. Empty-nest syndrome 6. feeling lack of self 7. relationship difficulties 8. fear of change 9. forgiveness issues. She is willing to invest in herself and self motivated to do the work and introspection needed to get the life she dreams of.
* I coach using the theology that we each have 6 basic needs: 1. Certainty 2. Uncertainty/Variety 3. Significance 4. Love/Connection 5. Growth 6. Contribution. Our behavior is reflective of how we are getting each of those needs met and which ones we are valuing over the others. There is a positive intention at the core of our behaviors. When we identify the need trying to be met in a negative behavior, bring the positive intention forward and climb to our highest level of positive intent, we can use this to overcome our challenges. My practice is helping women feel hope, a sense of purpose and mission, and greater connection to God so they live in their highest intention. This sheds shame, guilt, anger, depression, feeling stuck, confusion and powerlessness. It enable women to feel energized in life, grateful, purposeful, open to love and connection, alignment of their core beliefs and behaviors and relief.
*I also do work around fear. Not phobias, but the fear that prevents us from proactively living our life. The fear that abuses our souls with smallness and doubt. Again, this goes into what need is fear trying to fulfill? It's all tied together.
* By the end of the year I will be certified with a new certification given by the same board that certifies counselors. They have just developed one for coaches. NCC (National Certified Coach)
I will also be a Certified Strategic Intervention Coach and Certified Relationship and Marriage Educator. So very excited.
